Merry Christmas Light of the World New HUmans!

If you have known me for a while you know this is one of my all time favorite Christmas songs. I can rock this song OUT 😉 and feel such a genuine connection with it in my heart. Amy Grant is the first artist I heard do this song so I am sharing her version, though I am sure there are others. If you enjoy her, I also love her rendition of Breath of Heaven.

As we all gather for the most celebratory day of the Return of the Light, may we remember that we are here to develop a new relationship to our power. In the same way that Master Jesus brought evolutionary change through radical expression of Love, Forgiveness, Compassion and the willingness to stray far from the center of what was socially expected and acceptable – it is for each of us to engage in impassioned life in such a way that we become way-showers and teachers of a new way of Existence. An existence that lives within each of us as a new consciousness. As it always has and always will, the Christ is within us.

We had a joyful final yoga class before Christmas yesterday in which one of my favorite teachers held the class in a suspended moment – asking us to consider that there is a Supreme Being, a Super Consciousness and Love so free, yet it chooses to inhabit us and dwell among us and seeks experience through us. How wondrous is that?

On this Holy Christmas Day of tremendous new Light and promise for HUmanity, I encourage you to spend time in the quiet of your Soul – listening, feeling and contemplating what the image of the new HUman looks like as we lift into a new resonance and relationship with our power. The power and love and capacity of the Christ. From this power we will choose new vocations through which this “life urge” might find new expression in us. It begins now. It begins this day of days. It begins with you.
