In yoga class today, the teacher checked in with us about our resolutions… and curiously quite a few people said they don’t set new years resolutions because they know they will not stick with it very long. And it got me thinking, why not re-frame that loaded concept and instead of resolution, choose an inspiration? Think of a quality you already have that you want to nurture. Trust, love, compassion, discipline, gratitude, forgiveness, allowing. Whatever inspires you to live a life of joy and contentment.
Something to think about…
in the meantime – a tree may be something you could use for inspiration 😉
Stand tall and proud
Sink your roots into the Earth
Be content with your natural beauty
Go out on a limb
Drink plenty of water
Remember your roots
Enjoy the view
Have a beautiful day beloveds – shine, share, sing, seek wonder, sit in silence, breathe and love, love, love.
Thank you wise tree…..I truly love thee.
I picked a Virtue Card for the year ahead……I am inspired to be ‘Flexible’ for 2015….blessed BE <3
flexibility is a good aspiration Karen – I am definitely learning a whole new level of flexibility in yoga! 😉
