Moments Of Bliss

Good Morning Light Tribe,

Jim, Bodhi and I went exploring on a little adventure yesterday! There are some popular waterfalls in Dupont State Forest that we frequent often – but I recently learned there is another lesser known waterfall in the area called Wintergreen Falls. It was a delightful hike through a grassy field of wildflowers, through a deep woods trail and along Grassy Creek to the foot of the falls. There were massive rocks and boulders throughout with rapids cascading every which way – it made crossing and exploring different parts of the river easy. We were the only ones anywhere around and at first, it didn’t really occur to us to try and get to the top of the falls… that is until we saw Bodhi licketysplit up the side of the falls like he had little wings lifting him across the top of the rock! So we decided to follow. Jim has a good 9″ on me so it was not without support that I made some of the leaps the 2 males of my family made before me! But all was well and WELL worth it and magical – pristine peace – pure waters – abundant nature sounds and as you will see here, plenty of butterflies that were not shy in exploring the strange creatures that came to spend time in their habitat! It is always a good time to be in nature and visit the Mother~ and I LOVE sharing her beauty! Enjoy! ♥
