I had a blessed AWESOME experience in yoga yesterday! There is no way I could recreate the magic of the moment but still I wanted to share some elements with you. The yoga room has high ceilings with large windows up around the ceiling perimeter. The morning sun was coming through those windows with a fierce presence.
The back story is that it was a 90 minute class with a teacher that really goes deeply into technique – and I was feeling a little sore from the previous and many days of yoga adventures into new technique. So I went to the back row and off to the side in case I couldn’t keep up! 😉 Well, as I mentioned earlier – the sun was coming through the windows, casting rays of light such that you could see dancing “filaments” in the air. I found this fascinating and begin to focus on this light show happening above the very focused and powerful activity of the yoga. About 20 minutes into the show – the song below came on the playmix – at the same time that a large pink orb appeared on the wall just in front of me. The orb was high up between the windows and did not move for the entire rest of the class. It became my Sun – my reach and focus for the remaining yoga focus and work – a backdrop for a unified rhythm of breath and intention with the 40 + people in the room.
So my body is moving with the energy and my mind is focused on this plate sized pink orb, drawn up into its presence. All the while, these dancing particles were caught in the rays of Light from that bright sun. It was quite a display. I found my body and balance supported in a way I would not have guessed given the way I felt when I came to class.
When I got home, I looked for a video of the song to share with you and was not at all surprised to discover that the meaning of Jai -Kali Ma – the song that brought the orb into focus – is “To The Mother”.
As we have honored the Great Mother in meditations and within the vibrational content of the New Human Transmissions for many weeks now – it felt very fitting that she “show up” in this way and fill the intention of that room, that moment, those people and ME… with her love. Truly, even without such moments of validated presence, the Mother is with us, always: her love, her nurturing, her faith and trust in us to be the Light that we are and the strength that we bare… May we continue to love her and lift her up and remember her with the choices we make in our lives – for she is everywhere. She is the Light. She is Love.
